Pixelffector does not collect, share or sell any personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and the app makes no network connections of its own.
Camera
Pixelffector uses the camera to show the live viewfinder and to take your shots. Camera frames are processed on your device only and are never uploaded or stored, except for the shots you choose to save.
Your photos
Saved shots go to your device's photo gallery, in a Pixelffector album, and stay there under your control. On iPhone, the app asks for photo library access so it can save shots to that album and show them in the Roll tab. On Android, no storage permission is needed: the app only reads back the shots it saved itself.
When you import a photo, the system photo picker gives the app only the photo you choose. Imported photos are processed on your device and are not stored by the app unless you save the result.
Data on your device
The app remembers a few settings on your device: the last palette and tuning you used, whether you've seen the intro, and how many shots you've saved (used only to decide when to show the rating prompt). Nothing else is kept by the app.
Backups
If backups are turned on for your device, the operating system may include those settings in your Google (Android) or iCloud (iOS) backup. These backups are handled by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies; Pixelffector has no access to them.
Sharing and ratings
When you export a shot, the system share sheet sends it only to the app you choose, along with a short "Created with Pixelffector" caption. Pixelffector may show the App Store or Google Play rating prompt; that prompt is provided by Apple or Google.
Deleting your data
Uninstall the app to delete the settings it stored. Saved shots stay in your photo gallery until you delete them there.
